Valerie and Tomáš’s wedding was preceded by a beautiful Russian tradition, during which all the women in the family accompany the future bride to marriage. It includes the creation of a flower crown – a wreath that symbolizes women’s freedom. Valerie, her mother, sister and niece all took part in making this wreath together in the beautiful surroundings of the village of Ždiar, thus imagining the times spent together during their youth. It was a great honor for me to be a part of this beautiful ritual that accompanies the bride to a new life.
